Jewelry has been a long time love of mine. Metal, stone, wood, and many more wonderful materials make their way into my wearable art. As I begin a necklace, bracelet, or earrings it alters from the basic elements crafted from into its own significant art piece.
Personalities affect my work greatly. Often I have envisioned someone in particular and their tastes in jewelry have allowed me to expand with choices, slightly altering my original design. To fully express some of these fantastic women who give me such inspiration I have often added subtle "charms" with many words to describe them. Which words would describe you....passionate, loving, warrior, faithful, and many more!
Silver, copper, turquoise, coral....the list is endless. I work with whatever inspires me, which can often lead to fun new experiments. I hammer my own silver, tint the copper, and create lots of extras that add a little flair to the jewelry. Whether I am using my own hammered toggles or carefully purchased rutilated quartz all materials are of the highest quality.
