Gracing the San Gabriel Presbyterian Church in Georgetown Texas is Charlotte Rufenacht's latest grand acheivement.

The mesquite cross is around nine feet tall and 5 feet wide and the four men who hung it up high agree that it is about 400 pounds.  Charlotte was stunned when she received the call about creating the key piece to the altar and then was requested for it to be installed by Christmas Eve.  With a quick prayer she told the architect, "If God didn't think I was able, he wouldn't have had you call me." 

For such a large job one could expect certain pitfalls, but this creative process flowed with ease.  The Lord was watching over Charlotte, knowing that this cross would touch so many.  Respectfully Charlotte nailed a small plaque on the back of the cross stating...
